Nestled in the residential heart of Strathalbyn, a charming historic town, this childcare centre was designed to fit naturally into its surroundings. Working with the council's request, we designed a mix of building volumes that reflect the timeless charm of traditional Australian rural sheds, while introducing a touch of playfulness with vibrant, colourful cladding. The result is a welcoming and modern space that still honors the town’s rich history.
